This month we are being invaded in the purest style of War of the Worlds, but not by aliens, but by material from the bowels of our planet. It is a viscous substance that seeps into spaces, impregnating and surrounding them, solidifying to create a nature-architecture symbiosis that combines the purity of minimalism with the brutality of rock. The material flows, flooding architectures; spreading and extending like moss or a vine.
Stone Embrace.
Stone elements embrace minimalist structures, generating a balance between opposites, both in material aspects and in terms of color and the tactile quality of their surface.
Expressiveness is sought by combining two opposing languages, resulting in a coexistence between extremes, a harmony between opposites that exalt each other.
Simbiosis.
The material surrenders to duality. The absence of color blends with chromatic explosion. Rough surfaces, untreated, are accompanied by polished or smooth materials.
The enigmatic, the unknown, what is hidden in the bowels of the earth that emerges invading the world of the surface.
